The old Stovall Home, outside of Barksdale, Texas, is in the midst of isolated, rugged, and beautiful country with clear-flowing streams. Mr. Stovall would go on to author two regional history books which are now collector’s items: Nueces Headwater Country and Breaks of the Balcones.
